Getting Started with Ruzora: A Developer’s Guide

Congratulations on your placement! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about your first weeks as a placed engineer at Ruzora.

We’ve designed the Developer Portal to give you full visibility into your placement, payments, and career growth. Here’s how to make the most of it.

During your first week, you’ll receive access to the Developer Portal where you can track your payments, manage your profile, submit referrals, and stay connected with the Ruzora community.

We recommend completing your profile setup within the first 48 hours — this helps us match you with the best opportunities and ensures smooth communication with your team.

Head to the Profile section to update your skills, timezone, and availability. A complete profile signals professionalism and helps your client team understand your expertise.

Don’t forget to add your GitHub URL and preferred rate — these are visible to the Ruzora team when considering you for future opportunities.

All your payment information is available in the Payments section. You can view your payment history, download CSV statements, and track your year-to-date earnings broken down by month.

Payments are processed through Deel (our Employer of Record), and you can view live contract status in the Contracts section.

Know talented engineers? Submit referrals through the Referrals section and earn $500 when they get successfully placed. It’s a win-win — you help a colleague find great work, and you earn a reward.

Include as much detail as possible (LinkedIn, skills, relationship context) to increase the quality score and speed up the review process.
